Graduate of Ohio State University (BA), the University of Arizona (MA) and Thunderbird, The American Graduate School of International Management (MBA). Held senior positions in several Fortune 500 corporations and has extensive experience in managing difficult operating and financial environments. Joined worldwide apparel maker Warnaco Inc. in 1996 and helped achieve revenue growth from $0.9 billion to $2.2 billion. Managed $1.1 billion of acquisitions of brands such as Calvin Klein jeans and Speedo swimwear and shared responsibility for global sourcing and procurement that included a 200-person buying function with offices in Hong Kong and Pakistan, as well as factories in China, the Philippines and Sri Lanka. Had oversight responsibility for European logistics and distribution activity centered in Rotterdam, Lyon, France and Nottingham, England. Joined $2 billion worldwide cosmetics concern, Revlon Inc., as Assistant Treasurer in 1986, shortly after its acquisition by Ronald Perelman's MacAndrews & Forbes Holdings. Promoted to Vice President and Treasurer and raised over $5 billion in the bank and public bond markets, managed multiple acquisitions and divestitures from $10 million to $1.1 billion and participated in financing and structuring numerous other MacAndrews & Forbes Holdings portfolio companies including the Coleman Company, Technicolor Inc., First Nationwide Bank, Consolidated Cigar Corporation, National Health Laboratories and New World Communications, as well as Revlon's initial public offering. Joined Allied Corporation (now Honeywell Corporation) in 1981 in the oil and gas subsidiary and transferred to corporate headquarters of the $12 billion conglomerate. |
